HE Minister for Planning and Infrastructure Ms Diane Beamer, will visit Keating Headland at Bermagui today (Tuesday) to talk to resident about their concerns about public access.
The sale and fencing off recently of land formerly regarded as public land has caused a furore in Bermagui with residents calling on the State Government to resume the land so that it can be returned to public use.
Residents have also called on Bega Valley Shire Council to rezone a portion of the land as a public access.
Ms Beamer was in Eden yesterday with the Bega Valley Shire Council mayor, Cr David Hede, to discuss planning initiatives.
She will be in Keating Drive, Bermagui, at 11.30am today for the meeting with residents before going on to Narooma for discussions with the Eurobodalla mayor, Cr Pam Green.
