Bega Rugby League junior Kane Morgan has assured his place on the Australian Institute of Sport/Australian Rugby League Program Tour of England.
The raffle of an autographed Australian Guernsey to raise funds on his behalf was well supported by a wide range of sporting people and friends of the Morgan family.
Drawn at the Bega Bowling and Sporting Club last Friday night by Bowling Club President, Andrew Warby, the Guernsey was won by Joanne Nicholson of Bournda who held ticket 614.
A cheque, which will cover Kane’s travel costs on the 25-day tour has been sent to Australian Rugby League.
Kane and his family wish to thank their many friends and supporters who have made this trip of a lifetime possible.
