A NICE walk in spring rain greeted players at Bermagui Dad’s Army Golf last Sunday and good scores resulted.
Winner on countback was Bobby Sirl on 24 points and runner-up was Bobby Finch with the same score. Third, and on the comeback trail, was Maurie “Mocca” Kenny with 22 points.
NTP on the Bermagui Sand & Gravel sponsored 11th was Wally Taylor and on the Bermagui Mufflers 15th Dave “The Gnome” Graham was closest.
The Bob Wilton Backhoe Hire Encouragement Award went to Roy Davies with the best score on holes 13, 14 and 15. Ball rundown went to 17 points or better and the Hacker Award went to the unfortunate Gary Grebert.
Laurie Brown would have won the Jubb Fisheries Lucky Member award but he was at home nursing a crook back and Arthur Worsley took off the Supadupa Meat Tray.
Next week it’s the trip to Eden so be in the car park at 6 am and be ready for a real good day with the boys from Eden who are excellent hosts and will give us a great day.
